I'm Justin Mills. I spent nearly twenty years in the Air Force and Air National Guard, including seven years on help desk and equipment accountability supporting a worldwide operations center, then nearly a decade in HVAC and building automation before moving into IT full time.

Today I'm a network administrator in central Illinois, supporting county offices, law enforcement, community banks, and the small businesses around them. Most of those places don't have an IT department. They have one person, or a contractor who drives in when something breaks.

This site is for that person. Every article here comes from a problem I've actually had to solve, written up the way I wish someone had written it for me. No client names, no vendor sponsorships, just what worked.
